What Causes Severe Pain And Vomiting During The Start Of Period?

im 19 and my period is awful sometimes i want have a period but when I do I get sick and throwup at least 3 to 4 times my first day. I have to cancel any plans I have because I will be in the bed with so much pain and sometimes I run a fever. what is going on
