What Causes Severe Pain Around A Surgical Incision?

Hello, I had surgery 17 years ago to remove adhesions and to remove scar tissue and excess skin. I had lost 160 pounds,had 4 c-sections and a hiatal hernia surgery. I had a cut like an upside down The. I now have tremendous pain, the area around where the umbilical was reinsert ed was secured with metal stitching,it feels like I am being ripped in half and I feel tearing high and low and around the umbilical What can I do, I am a veteran? I have VA and Verano Choice (Health Net)?.. Jules Upside down T not the I am in Virginia

Sorry about your health condition. You may be suffering from umbilical cord Infection or keloid or umbilical cyst or a hernia. Cystitis or PIDay also present like this.

Please get one ultrasound abdomen, urine examination and complete blood picture. Please consult your surgeon he will examine locally and systemically then treat you accordingly.
