What Causes Severe Pain Around The Ears?
lam 68 years old and I have been suffering with severe pain around my right ear for 10 years now. I had a test where they put saline in my head through my ear to test way I was having vertigo. I developed a severe ear infection that took 4 months to get rid of I had pus running out of my ear. They told me that there was no infection even though I felt there was. So I lived with it for a year or so. But then I went to the doctor complaining this full congested feeling I have seen every kind of doctor out there but no one can diagnosis me. I have had cat scan but can t have an MRI because I have a wire In my head for a staphindectomy. I have dry mouth and now its on both sides and I have a sucking sensation in my head. T

Though you had consulted ENT specialist the problem is not addressed properly. You may have problem in TMJ due to various reasons like lack of teeth mouth. Temporomandibular joint problem is a common cause of ear problem.
Tell me if you have any problem in teeth, Do you feel joint sounds on the same side?
You definitely need to be seen at least by oral medicine specialist. You need not to worry. If it is problem of joint or teeth it can be easily managed.
