What Causes Severe Pain Around The Hips?
I have severe pain over my left kidney / hip area. Now I do have some messed up disks on my lower spine. Accident that lead into on going problems and I said no to surgery. Mostly I can deal with using a tens machine for a day or two, however...this pain is locked over my right hip and nothing is working! I m on my 3rd week and it s now getting so intense that I can barely walk on some days. it s so intense I just want to howl/growl. I have been using alot of new vitamins due to stress, Mom is just 2 months out of a stroke and relying on me and I need to figure out what is happening to me , so I can continue her care..

Consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated to rule out conditions like osteoarthritis which can cause similar symptoms.
As of now you can try analgesics like Acetaminophen or Diclofenac for pain relief.
