What Causes Severe Pain Behind Eye After Treating Viral Infection?

After a cold type viral infection I now have a bad pain behind my eye and towards the back of my head . I am taking Naproxen as it was prescribed previously for a similar pain but this pain in lasting. It has been three days now and it feels behind my nose and eye. It goes then comes back.

you had viral flu. Asfer pain in eye it might be ophthalmoplegia. still eye need to be examined like vision fundusexamination. take some analgesic like hifenac p after food for 5days.
