What Causes Severe Pain, Degenerative Spondylosis, Facet Osteoarthritis, And Spinal Misalignments?

Hello, I am a 66-year-old female with degenerative spondylosis and facet osteoarthritis of the lumbar spine. I also have retrolisthesis L2 on L3 measuring 2mm, L3 on L4 measuring 4mm, and anterolisthesis L4 on L5 measuring 3mm. I have Modic I changes at L3-L4 and Modic II changes at L2--L3. Curvature of 20 degrees at L2-L3. Would you recommend surgery??? I have had severe pain for 20-plus years. I also have several severe cervical problems. Surgery has been recommended on the cervical area, but my surgeon is backing off on the lumbar....I am devastated. I am in pain 24/7!!
