Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This type of throbbing pain lasting for hours after intercourse is due to the tightening of the pelvic floor muscles, stress is the reason. Lack of enough lubrication, trauma or injury, infection or inflammation in the skin of the genital area & emotional/psychological factors may cause this. Don't worry. Use lubricants, stay stress free, do pelvic exercises, to change positions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
