What Causes Severe Pain In Arms And Shoulders After A Fall?

I took a hard fall a few days ago. I was carrying a rack of bottled water and stepped wrong out of a walk-in cooler and my left foot rolled and took me to the ground. I had it checked at urgent care yesterday, and they said it was a sprain. Today, 2 days later, I am so sore in my shoulders and arms. Unfortunately I am still recovering from arthroscopic shoulder surgery on 12-11-14. Could I be so sore because of the jarring my body took? I landed on my rear end with the water still in my arms.

thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....

well you said that you are still recovering from your arthroscopy, plus now an injury to the same area can be severe....so though it may be some sprain, do take painkillers, rest and restrict your movements for some time....you can visit your orthopaedician if required...

dont neglect your injury...

hope this was helpful...
regards
