What Causes Severe Pain In Back Radiating Down The Leg?

Hi I have suffered with back pain for more then 10yrs and I'm use to pain but since Xmas eve I've been in agony pain go in down my right leg it feels like my disc has slipped i carnt stand up straight im currently takin tramadol and pregablin which isnt touchin the pain should i gßo up to the hospital or is there aomething i can do at home

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Lumbago that is lower back pain and it is radiating to right leg..
It can be caused due to causes like Sciatica that is caused when there is compression or injury to Sciatic nerve by either herniated disk or bne spurs pinching or compressing the nerve..
It seems to be a cause in you case while other causes can be muscle or ligament tear,osteoarthritis, osteoporosis etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Othopedician and get evaluated and he can advise you investigations like x ray of the vertebral column, MRI SCAN, Electromyography etc to rule out the exact cause of pain and treat you accordingly..
He can advise you anti-inflammatory painkillers, Narcotic painkillers, muscle relaxants, , tranquillizers etc for pain relief..
Physiotherapy and muscle relaxing massage can be advised..
Loosing weight can help..
