What Causes Severe Pain In Back Radiating To The Ribcage?

Have pain in the right side of my back starting at the spine and moving around the rib cage to the side. Has been there for two days and have been taking anti inflammatory with not much luck. The spasm are quite painful and can be relieved only when I lay on that side or put pressure on it.
