What Causes Severe Pain In Buttocks And Knee?

I was told at the emergency room on 12/22/15 that I had sciatica. I had pain in my right buttocks that was very painful. I was given prescription for pain meds and 2 prednisone for 7 days. That didn t help so I went to an immediate care facility and got more pain meds and 48 tab prednisone 10mg. The meds is almost gone and now my right knee is paining with a sensational feeling pain. I went to my pcp on 1/14/16 and he has ordered a right hip lumbar spine x-ray. I am wondering what is happening , because I have been to many places not to know what is happening, or am I not telling the whats happening the right way?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you have not done the MRI then better to get this done and if it is the sciatica then surgery could be the option for this, and if this is not like anything abnormal then better to control your thought try some relaxation therapy and for that you need to see the physiotherapist or trained person hope this information helps.
