What Causes Severe Pain In Buttocks?

i have an ache in the buttock area which sometimes goes to the front aswell, i also ache on the back of my left thigh, i have taken ibuprofen and paracetemoland tried a heat pad but nothing, worse at night but is causing me problems in the day time too
