What Causes Severe Pain In Elbow?

Hi please help me.. i am a 20 year male. I had this severe pain in my left elbow probably coz of excessive weight lifting . I consulted man doctors they said its very close to tennis elbow and now suddenly i just found out that my veins near the injury are turning purple ish red !! What do i do? Wht is this indicating? Please help :( :( No medical history.
