General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Diabetic neuropathy can cause severe tingling or burning pain. I would suggest you to control your blood sugar levels. Vitamin B12 dose can be increased to reduce the nerve related symptoms. Ankle and foot stretching exercises can help in increasing the blood flow and reduce the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
