What Causes Severe Pain In Head After Sex?
male 48 during sex when im coming I have excruciating pain starts at the base of my skull and it flows over the top of head clear to my eyes on my right side of my head its happened four times now first time it took 2 minutes for the pain to go away second time it took 4 minutes to go away the third time it took longer for the pain to stop the fourth time it took 12 hours and I still have pain

Some people do have severe pain in the head after sexual activity. It is called orgasm headache and happens when one gets orgasm. During sex or orgasm blood pressure rises and so does heart rate thus causing blood vessels in the brain to dilate. Tightening of the neck and shoulder muscles along with dilated brain blood vessels causes severe headache in some who are stressed up or have an underlying medical condition of headache or migraine.
Avoid any sexual activity when you are stressed up, Avoid stress both physical and emotional. Keep yourself relaxed on bed. Orgasm sometimes helps to relieve tension headache. You can take acetaminophen after food to get rid of pain. If you suffer from migraines then taking triptans is helpful. Get yourself clinically examined by a GP, get blood and imaging tests done to rule out any brain aneurysms and hypertension or stroke. Your treatment will depend on the symptoms and the underlying medical condition detected.
