What Causes Severe Pain In Hip Radiating Down The Leg To Foot?

I have a pain in my leg ,from deep inside my hip ,down my leg , behind my knee , ending just below my shin on the outside top of my left foot. It is like a rubber band pulled too tight , the pain is sort of a burning but when it catches I can hardly bend at my hip and the pain is pretty severe .

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to sciatica and to get it confirm better to get done the test and orthopedic opinion, if this is positive then some time this may get alright with NSAID and physiotherapy, some time this may need surgical intervention, hope this information helps, take care.
