What Causes Severe Pain In Kidneys?

I have kidney stones but they rarely move. I am having severe pain in my kidneys all day and have had pain before I have to go to the bathroom. It doesn t hurt to urinate though. I have taken loritab 5-325mg. Do you think this could be a kidney infection? or is a stone stuck?

Hai,

As kidney stone may cause pain while urinating and it may also cause bleeding and urinary tract infection.
If the stone remain under 5mm it won't hurt unless your are hydrated as well.
poor hydration may cause urinary tract infection with or with out pain.
hydration is one of the key role in kidney stone.
kindly do an urine routine and urine culture to rule out any infection.
