What Causes Severe Pain In Leg In Spite Of Micro Discectomy?

Hi, I had a micro discectomy 2 weeks ago l4/5, and I simply cannot walk any distance without excruciating pain down right leg, worse than before surgery. When sitting or lying, I have no pain at all. Dr has priscribed lyrica (75mg) twice a day, but this seems to do nothing. I also take ibuprofen, with not much relief at all. Any ideas please. I have made another appointment with surgeon for next week to review as I don t think this is normal recovery ??

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, now it is better to have some rest no more walking till the pain being investigated some time it could be some infection or nerve compression and these needs to be ruled out till the you can try some narcotic analgesic (Oxycodone ) can be tried hope this information helps.
