General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, pelvic pain with lower back ache while using Mirena may be of various possibilities as:

- vaginal infection
- pelvic inflammatory condition
- hormone imbalance
- others

* A series of lab tests, cervical swab and ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis are most crucial initial work up in this direction.

However, if any of the previous reports are available, please share with me during follow up chat.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
