Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am having trouble walking, saw a doctor on Tuesday, am on medication for strained muscle, the pain is getting worse, cannot walk without the aid of a crutch. The pain is in my lower left leg. I think it may be a blood clot, have had pain for approx. 2 to 3 weeks. Technician said there are no veins on left side of my leg where the pain is located, I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks.
In the meantime, take NSAIDS, naproxen, one SOS for relief. You can also get connected with a physiotherapist & do exercises/physical therapy. Take oral magnesium and calcium to ease muscle cramps. If venous thrombosis or any other pathology is detected, it will be treated accordingly. Get treated at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
