What Causes Severe Pain In Ribs Above The Breast?

I have been having pain on the bone right above my right breast. When I touch the area the pain becomes worse. I also have noticed that sometimes when I turn my head to the right I feel the discomfort go down through my breast. The pain is not alwaya there, it tends to come an go. I have done a self breast exam multiple times and everything sees fine. I do pick up my two year old on the same side that I have the tenderness onthe bone. I am a 27 year old female.
