What Causes Severe Pain In The Abdomen After An Appendix Surgery?

Hello, I had appendix surgery Dec 30/16 via laparoscopic. My appendix was slightly ruptured but the surgery was successful. I was released Dec 31/16 and returned Jan 2/17 with horrible pain in my abdomen but no vomiting. I retained a bunch of fluid and was in the hospital until Jan 5/17. There was not bowel blockage found and no infection in my blood. Once i was able to have a BM i felt better. Everything was back on track, but in the past 3 days i have felt uncomfortable again, have little control over my bowels and when I do go to the bathroom it hurts, walking has gone back to being uncomfortable. I am not in severe pain, it s just a dull ache. Sex is not possible because it hurts too much. Is this common? What can i do to help it?
