What Causes Severe Pain In The Abdomen On The Right Side?

been in sever pain for 5 hours and nothing is helping to even ease it....it feels like what a kidney stone does. i had one several years ago...but doesnt hurt when i pee and no blood....pain is on my right side...back and front. cant take much more before i head to the ER.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It appears to be ureteric colic, which happens when a kidney stone is dislodged and tries to move along the ureter. The pain is quite severe makes one toss about in the bed. Antispasmodics and painkillers are used to give relief. Even Diclofenac Injection 75 mg is given to control severe spasmodic pain. But it is better to visit the ER. Thanks
