What Causes Severe Pain In The Arch Of The Foot?

I am just about over a ten day bout with the flu. I was also given a z-PAC for secondary infection which I also just finished. I now have pain in both feet while standing. It is mostly in the arch of the foot just forward of the heal and makes walking very painful/difficult.
