What Causes Severe Pain In The Back When Diagnosed With UTI?

I was diagnosed with a UTI on Tuesday and have been taking an antibiotic since. The pain in my back/side has gotten significantly worse in the past 24 hours even though I m drinking lots of water and have been resting. I m concerned that maybe there is something more going on than just a UTI.

As per your history is concerned you have severe back pain associated with UTI for which you have been given an antibiotics.So complete the course of antibiotics first and do check your urine once again to check any PUS cell is present or not in the urine.Second point is back pain associated with UTI means we have to ruled out Kideny stone so make an ultrasound exam to ruled out it and also do a blood test(kidney function test).For pain take BUTODOL inj 2 mg in IM .
