What Causes Severe Pain In The Calves And Feet At Night?

I have been having extreme cramps in my calves and feet at night. I take a calcium and magnesium & zinc tablet which I think should help. I am on WP THYROID as a new medication. and take Progesterone at night which I never have done. I also have had a hormone replacement pellet with testerone & estrogin inserted about 3 weeks ago. The cramps are really bad and frightening. Any comments.??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Good day and thank you for posting this question. Sorry about the cramps. If I were your doctor I will stop all the drugs you are taking, especially the progesterone and hormone replacement therapy, for now and see if the leg cramps will go away. You probably having Deep Venous thrombosis. Please kindly visit your doctor for thorough examination.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
