What Causes Severe Pain In The Calves While On Metoprolol?
yes Thank you, I have been taking Metoprolol Tart, 25mg per day, and I haven t felt like my self, all along. but now for the last week, when I get up to walk I have intense horrible pain in my calves, and it takes a while being up for it to get better. I take two 200mg of Iburophen and put Icy hot on the calves to ease the pain, and it get better after about 15 to 20 minutes. I was tired and I laid down to rest(I was fine when I laid down) when I got up, the pain started again

Acute episode of calf pain may be of muscular origin, if not relieved by the analgesic and rest within 6-8 hours; should be taken as suspicious of developing deep vein thrombosis and must be addressed to the consultant physician.
