General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Chest pain can be related to any structure in the abdomen. Structures include the skin, muscles, bones such as the sternum or ribs, heart, lungs, oesophagus.

Since the pain is worsened with movements, it is likely not related to the heart and lungs. It is likely related to the muscles in the area.

The use of anti-inflammatory painkillers such as ibuprofen or naproxen may help relieve your discomfort.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
