What Causes Severe Pain In The Chest?

hello i ve been having sharp pains in my chest. I m 20 years old and my family continues to say theyre growing pains. but I m not sure, they just feel like something else. I just wanted to get som medical advice on what could be wrong.. sometimes its a sharp pain that comes out of nowhere and its like this dull ache when I breathe in and slowly fades out.. then theres oter times where a sharp pain comes out of nowhere and for each breath in I take theres a sharp pain... another is a constant ache in my chest.. like theres this heavy weight. sometimes the pain goes to my shoulder sometimes not a lot but sometimes it goes to my back. the pain is mostly on the right side of my chest.. however sometimes comes to the left. its sore to the touch like if I try to rub it, it hurts.
