What Causes Severe Pain In The Elbow After IV Use During A Colonoscopy?

Hi I had a colonoscopy done a month ago and they put IV in right arm and they used profenal to sedate me, since I had that I ve had sever pain in my elbow area, I can t even pick up a can of soup it hearts so bad, just trying to figure out what s going on, like I said it s been a little over a month ago n the pain was there the minute I woke up n has been there since, if h please during the day n heat at night but just does not seem to get better, any idea s

may be iv infusion has given rise 6to thrombophlabitis. apply thrombophob ointment in iv infusion site. just apply but donot rub. apply cold compression.
