What Causes Severe Pain In The Eyes?

My eyes sorely hurt, mostly when I use them. I have a front of the head headache. My body core is sore with any movement, from chest and including whole back. It does not hurt to breathe (normally or in/out deeply). It does hurt to cough. This is the third day. I ve been trying Tylenol and sinus meds. Should I wait a few more days or go to emergency.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is most probably refractive error so refraction is to be done. If error detected then it should be corrected and can be anisometropia with amblyopia in one eye. Test for phoria and all eye muscles function should be done when fixing vision projection of eye, is to be noted.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
