What Causes Severe Pain In The Groin And Numbness In The Lower Abdomen?

Several times I have woke up screaming because of a stabbing pain in my right groin area. The area of my right lower abdomen is numb. I am a 62 year old woman. I have had facet blocks in my lumbar area of my back. I have several other medical issues, but I don t know if they come into play.

Based on your description, it appears that the symptoms what you are having could be due to calculi in the ureters.

Kindly take an ultrasound scan of the abdomen and consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
