What Causes Severe Pain In The Head, Throat And Chest?

I woke up early morning, 5 am with the back of my head pounding/thumping. Lasted for 8 or so hours and it is just achy. The pain also went down my throat to my chest. I took tylenol and then hours later some more tylenol. This happens every few months. This was the worst and lasted the longest. Have never had the pain go down my throat and chest.

Hi,

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your headaches with radiated pain. As per your history, it looks like you are suffering from a migraine.

The symptoms of throbbing headache with nausea and photophobia. You need to consult a neurologist and may need to take prophylaxis of a migraine for some months to get rid of it.

Mostly doctors prescribe beta blockers, low dosage. There are also certain trigger agents associated with a migraine and you need to sort out, for example, dairy products are sorted out from your food like cheese.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
