General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am of the opinion that you need to consult an orthopaedician. Initially, you may be given pain killers (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) for initial few days along with certain tests like straight leg raising test to rule out problems like sciatica which are common causes of pain in the leg.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Riyanka Chail, General & Family Physician
