What Causes Severe Pain In The Hip On The Left Side?

I have severe pain on my left hip. I have arthritis in my spine and shoulders. I take Nucynta ER 200 mg. I had not had this pain on my hip before.. I cannot walk until the pain subsides a little. I am putting a heating pad but does not seem to work. I am 74 yrs old.

it might be osteoarthritis of hip joint. you should take a X-ray of hip joint. apply some heat there and take tab calcium(500) once daily. and you can take Tab aceclofenac(100) SOS
