Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My knee clicks every time I take a step, it has gotten worse the past couple of years, but now it is accompanied by pain in the joint, inability to put weight on the left leg, and sharper pains when the leg is being lifted for getting into or out of a vehicle, or even getting into or out of bed. (it seems be more affected by angle of the lift) When I hold the leg up straight, I am able to flex it and do simple leg lifts without it hurting.
It seems you have osteoarthritis of knee a radiograph of knee will help to confirm the diagnosis you haven't mentioned your age if it is more than 50then possibility of osteoarthritis is more.
