What Causes Severe Pain In The Left Armpit?
My girlfriend has severe pain in her left armpit. An ultrasound showed the muscle to be rock hard . Her doctor said he s not necessarily on board with the radiologists interpretation of the ultrasound. The pain is not in the entire muscle though, just in that one part in her armpit. She also had a mammogram and a CATscan of her chest that were both negative. Any idea on what this could be or what type of doctor she should go see next?
