What Causes Severe Pain In The Left Hand?

I am occasional pains almost daily in my hands. They strike very sharply and the only way to stop them is to rub my hands hard. strike out of no where and mainly in my left hand. I am right handed and have considered carpel tunnel because my right hand goes numb easily but the strong pains are in my left hand.

Thanks for considering Ask a doctor service
I understand your problem.

Do your have stiffness of hand?
I suggest you to take USG of hand to rule out Carpel tunnel syndrome.
Mean while for temporary relief I advise you to take T. Hifenac D BD (twice daily after food) for 3 days.

Hope your doubts are cleared.
Take care
