What Causes Severe Pain In The Left Leg?

I have been having intermittent pain in my left leg for the past few days. The pain is in the front of my left leg running from below my knee through my ankle. It s an achy, throbbing pain. I fitness walk for exercise so it may possibly be shit splints. I stretch before I walk! But the pain isn t going away even though I ve taken a few days off.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I will recommend x-ray knee and lumbar spine in this case. Till tests, you may take analgesic as diclofenac.
After x-rays, please show these to a local doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi, General & Family Physician
