What Causes Severe Pain In The Left Temporal Lobe?

I ve been having a squeezing pain in my left temple for a few days now. I am prone to tension headaches, but this pain has been a little different and comes and goes. I have also had other symptoms which I do not know if they are related. For the past five days I ve had a discoloration of my skin on both sides of my neck. At first they were red and have now turned dark. For the past three days I had diarhea. I haven t been able to find anything about these symptoms together or separately. Thank you for your time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to tension-type headache. I suggest using pain killers such as Ibuprofen three times a day. I also suggest avoiding factors that can trigger the symptoms. If the symptoms continue you should see a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
