What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Right Side?
I have been having a recurring pain on my right side, slightly down and to the right of my belly button. These pains come very sudden in a stabbing pain that catches y breath. It only last for a few seconds. This occurs at random times and has been on going for about 2 weeks. I do notice today that I have a slight pain that is radiating toward my back and that side of my stomach appears to be puffy. Could this be something I need to see a Dr. about?

The symptoms seem to be related to several medical conditions. It can be related to appendicitis. I suggest to do an abdominal ultrasound and a complete blood count to confirm the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.
