What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Left Leg?

I m having severe pain in my lower left leg. It started last night. I thought It was a tight muscle, but as the night went on it got worse. I can t walk on it. It appears slightly swollen. I took advil and put muscle cream on it to little avail. What could it be?

Your symptoms seem to be related to a muscle strain.

I recommend you to use anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.

I also recommend to use anti inflammatory cream such As Voltaren cream.

Heat compresses can be helpful.
