Hello,
As per your clinical history is concerned, please check your blood pressure and
thyroid function test and if abnormal then discuss with your Doctor to adjust medications soon because of weight gain is a cause of thyroid only.
Secondly, your
neck pain and headache looks like a
migraine so you need a detailed clinical examination by your Doctor [Neurologist] and do an MRI scan. Discuss with your Doctor for preventive medication like [Amitriptyline] and follow few lifestyle modifications like this:
1) Try to avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, avoid them.
2) Try to reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco.
3) Try to make a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control
stress.
4) Do exercise regularly. Regular
aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. If your doctor agrees, choose any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming, and cycling.
5) Reduce the effects of
estrogen. Try to avoid or reduce the medications you take that contain estrogen and these medications include birth control pills and
hormone replacement therapy. Talk with your doctor about the appropriate alternatives or dosages for you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
