What Causes Severe Pain In The Neck And Head Along With Dizziness?

I have moderate to severe neck pain on both sides. The pain radiates up the back of my head, both sides of my head and on top of my head. It s everyday all day. I can get lite headed and dizzy at times. It started about seven weeks ago, all of a sudden. No trauma caused it. I was put on Prednisone for 12 days. 4 pills for 3days, then 3 pills, then 2 pills ending with 1 pill for three days. Very minor relief for first two days then pain back to where it was to start.

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. An MRI neck will be better for further evaluation.
