What Causes Severe Pain In The Ribs And Back?

Hi, I am a 47-year-old female, yesterday I started having a severe stabbing pain in my RUQ that radiated all the way around through my ribs and into my back, went to ER the found nothing wrong, today still having the pain, but it is just in my back now and every time I turn, bend, breath in deeply, lift right arm or lay down it becomes worse. Please if you can offer any advice I know that I am not imagining it.

It sounds like gallstone attack, alternatively cholecystitis.
I suggest you have an ultrasound and liver function tests.
