What Causes Severe Pain In The Right Arm And Shoulders?
My right arm and shoulder has increased in pain from moderate to severe: can barely use right arm. Any suggestions on how to treat this because it is effecting my daily work activities as well as personal such as showering, makeup applications, curling hair, washing dishes, driving, etc.... I am 5 7 weigh 150 and just turned 37. thanks
Hi, Thanks for using healthcaremagic.com I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns. As per your description it seems that you have some kind of inflammation around your shoulder. It could be either due to a condition called " frozen shoulder" or some bursitis. It can take a longer time to resolve and you need not to worry about it.You can apply warm compresses for symptomatic relief. If you have pain you can use simple analgesics like ibuprofen. In case of no resolution or improvement in a month consult an Orthopedician or a physiatrist (doctor specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation ) and get evaluated. Hope this helps. Wishing you good health. Regards.
