Hello,

As due to hip replacement there will be a weakness of the muscles which may change the gait and later lead to trouble to the knee joint.

Due to additional stress and strain it may lead to ligament sprain which may not be prominent in the clinical examination.

But if the biomechanics of the muscle and joint is understood cleverly than it will be possible to figure out the cause of the knee joint.

Doing hip strengthening exercises, thigh muscle strengthening, lower limb strengthening will be helpful.

Also looking for the balance board training will help in correction of the muscle imbalances and improve the joint stability.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
