What Causes Severe Pain In The Shoulders, Elbows And Fingers?

Hello, I m 34 and been experiencing all severe joint pain in my shoulders, elbows, wrist, fingers , hips and now my ankles. It has me in tears from the pain most of the time. I m on steroids and pain pills that don t seem to work. I just found out my RA factor is now 112. Is that high and will the pain move to the rest of all my joints as well?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the symptoms you are describing and with high RA factor level, it appears that you could be having an autoimmune disorders affecting joints.
Kindly get your blood tested for Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), Uric acid levels, ASO titre and Anti-nuclear antibodies (ANA).
Consult Rheumatologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
Regards,
