What Causes Severe Pain In The Temple On The Left Side?

I have a terrible shooting pains coming and going on my left side temple. It slows me down as I want to do things around the house. But I can not because of this agony pains it just happens suddenly now. Not yesterday or before. Just this morning and all day. What is this? And what can I do at home to help myself?

Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intra cranial (inside the brain) causes.
