What Causes Severe Pain In The Thighs?

I ve been having a severe, sudden pain in my thigh area where the crease of your leg and torso are in the front. It hurts a little less if it put pressure on it when I walk but, it will make my leg give out. It hits me when I m walking and just started to go down my leg to my knee. Rest seems to help be it keeps coming back like every day now. The top part of my knee hurts also. I don t know what is causing it, please help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It may be due to some neuropathic cause like sciatica. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
